Kia Ora! Greetings from NZ!
We've been over here for a week now, and had a wonderful time at our Wedding Blessing during the weekend. It was great to see so many old friends here (even Mike recognises most people now!). Thanks to everyone who came and helped to make it such a great event.
We held the evening service in the local theatre/community hall, and there was a good turn out. We sang the same songs, and included most of the wording from the UK wedding service. We then moved the chairs round for a relaxed evening with food, drink and dancing, to a fabulous Jazz band. Paul, Rach's Dad, and Liz, our sister-in-law, were guest performers with the band for several numbers with improvised solos!
We are now concentrating on relaxing and resting... something surprisingly difficult, but we will keep practising until we perfect the art! We hope to catch up with some friends before we head to the South Island for our second Honeymoon next week. We will be back in Wellington for Christmas day, then fly back to England for Christmas number 2!

We had a superb day at our UK wedding. So many happy memories. Thank you all for being a part of it with us. It was particularly touching to both of us, how many overseas greetings & emails, saying they were thinking and praying for us on the big day. It was nice to feel that the miles between us shrank just for a day!
Amazingly in the chaos, only one present got separated from its senders card! (Thank you Liz for selotaping cards on to presents before they were moved!).
So with that in mind, would the giver of the bottle of "decorative chillies" please email us, so we know who you are!
We have so many "Thank You's" we want to say, and will do soon. But in the meantime, we want you to know you haven't been forgotten! It has taken us longer then expected to get settled after the Honeymoon, as we were both very tired and caught colds. However, feeling rested and stronger again, we are now preparing for the NZ... and looking forward to it.
